Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Wellington office:

Client Services Specialist

You will provide support to Client Facing Brokers in all aspects of administration and technical support through the accurate, efficient and timely production of most complex policies and related documentation. You will demonstrate increased technical proficiency while providing peer level mentoring to Operations Specialist and Coordinators.

We will count on you to:

Ensure the efficient and timely production of all policy and related documentation across the insurance life cycle, including but not limited to:

  • Invoices and related policy documentation
  • Quotation and placing slips
  • Premium and adjustment calculations
  • Claims history
  • Draft policy wordings and endorsements for Brokers, Risk Advisors and Client Executives
  • Draft renewal reports and insurance manuals
  • Questionnaires to asses coverage needs
  • Update computer system records
  • Current and outstanding documentation follow ups
  • Ensure documents are saved to the compliant filing systems
  • All other documentation (e.g: email templates, insurer forms etc)
  • Production/processing of complex and confidential documentation when

Additional duties will include:

  • Assist Brokers, Risk Advisors and Client Executives with client and insurer debtor inquiries
  • MPS – quotes, placement and endorsement
  • Client and insurer debtor control
  • TechCertain/Micro processing
  • Issuance of CE renewal list reports – download, pdf, and issuance to CE's
  • Claims admin – send & receive client claim forms, and submit & follow up with insurers
  • E-placement processing – Terms and Placement
  • DocGen – Quote and Placement
  • Upload tasks to Jira
  • Back-up person for the contractors when they are unavailable or on leave

What you need to have:

  • University degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to interface with colleagues at all levels within the organisation
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Adept to learning new technologies

What makes you stand out:

  • New Zealand Certificate in Financial Advice (Level 5) or equivalent
  • Work experience in insurance or financial services
