About the Role:

I am seeking a dedicated Intake and Assessment Officer for this busy team. In this vital role, you will assist the Manager in handling complaints and contacts under various legislative acts, ensuring every concern is managed with integrity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the intake, registration, and assessment of complaints under various legislative acts, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Manage files not yet allocated to investigators, prepare responses for the Manager, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Process incoming mail and correspondence, maintaining strict confidentiality and security of information.
  • Provide high-quality support, ensuring effective resolution of complaints and enquiries

About You:

  • Skills Needed: Strong analytical skills to identify main issues in complaints. Attention to detail for accurate data entry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate problems and seek assistance when needed.
  • Experience: Experience working with databases (medical, complaint, sales) is highly valued. Familiarity with the Official Information Act or complaint handling is a bonus.
  • Team Dynamics: A friendly, supportive, practical, and fast-paced team.
  • Attributes: Ability to prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment. Build effective relationships and maintain a high standard of confidentiality.
  • Skills: Proficiency in computer use and meticulous attention to detail.
