The Intake and Assessment Clinician - s role involves working collaboratively with the CAMHS teams and other service providers to access the most appropriate service/support for the person based on their needs. CAMHS is committed to the use of the CAPA model which is a continuous service improvement model that combines personalised care and collaborative practice when partnering with service users and their family/whanau.
You will be triaging non-urgent referrals from a variety of sources in the community, liaising with relevant services to ensure young people receive safe, high quality and equitable care.

Moū - About you
You will be an experienced registered mental health professional (Allied Health or Nursing) with at least 5 years of recent work experience in a mental health service, an up to date annual practising certificate, and experience in mental health triage and risk assessment.

**This role is open to a Registered Mental Health Professional**: Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, who has skills and expertise in working with children, adolescents and their families, bi-cultural and multi-cultural work practices, and community liaison.
