Working with a range of well-known brands, your role will involve owning the channel/category strategy for our major markets, enhancing our presence in stores, and ensuring our brands have the right product, marketing, and promotional strategies in place. Being a crucial part of the New Zealand Management Team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating effectively with the sales team to ensure Go-To-Market excellence
  • Driving the achievement of financial and market share targets for the health portfolio
  • Developing and executing the Channel and 4Ps strategy for the portfolio
  • Ensuring Reckitt stands out as the preferred Supplier for Category Development
  • Collaborating with Customers at senior levels to establish Category Roadmaps
  • Supporting Customer Teams in implementing the "Category Growth" element for all Category Reviews
  • Leading the development and retention of talent within the Trade, Category & Shopper Strategy team

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • More than 10 years' experience in Trade Marketing &/or Category Strategy
  • Previous exposure to the FMCG industry
  • A sense of urgency, efficiency, and adeptness at managing competing priorities
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and cultivating high-performing teams
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build influential relationships
