Mō tēnei tūranga - About the role


The Screening Services - Systems Data Analyst is a key role responsible for maintaining the data integrity of both National Screening Programme registers.

This involves managing data and providing technical support administration required to deliver efficient and effective screening programs.

The role plays a crucial part in ensuring centralised systems with accurate, relevant, and high-quality information to drive the success of the National Screening Programmes.


Ngā haepapa matua - Key responsibilities

We provide comprehensive support to the National Screening Programme team, assisting with system usage, troubleshooting, and addressing error queues.

Prioritising data integrity in our custom participation management system, we actively engage with stakeholders, including Te Whatu Ora and contracted services, while upholding a commitment to customer-focused service, confidentiality, and privacy.

Dedicated to continuous quality improvement, we systematically review data for consistency and accuracy, ensuring an accurate record of issues and system performance.

Timely escalation of identified system and process issues is part of our protocol, always in strict adherence to organisational policies and procedures.

  • Qualifications and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Experience managing data within a data collection system
  • Proficient in working with IT system error queues
