About The Role BDT are looking for experienced leader to support the growth we are experiencing within our Hot Water Heat Pump solutions category.

Working closely with the Managing Director and Product Engineers, the SBU Manager will develop strategies for the sales and product team to further strengthen this category within NZ and to ensure we are fully taking advantage of future growth opportunities.

The successful SBU Manager will be tasked with delivering the results.

We need a credible sales leader who can: Come into an established team and look over the horizon to step up their growth, from organic year on year to doubling the business.

Operate at a strategic level in the business taking a helicopter view of sales and product, developing the structure and strategy and following through to execution in the field.

Provide strong leadership, coaching, energising the team around sales goals and engaging them through shared ideas and initiatives.
At the heart of this role are the customer relationships.

The SBU Manager will seek out opportunities to build relationships with customers requiring some travel in order to do this.

The SBU Manager will work internally with our Marketing team to build supporting marketing strategies to further the awareness of Hot Water Heat Pump solutions and oversee the technical support requirements for this growing business by consulting, advising and building our expertise in this area.

Qualifications and Experience The successful SBU Manager will have demonstrable experience as a successful sales professional and be a truly collaborative leader.

To be successful in this role, candidates will have an extensive background in the plumbing industry and a base knowledge of either HVAC systems or similar type water heating systems.

We are looking for a commercially strong, driven and passionate Sales Leader to champion our Hot Water Heat Pump business and drive sales results.

While a tertiary or trade qualification is not essential, it would be beneficial.
