With an increased demand on service there is no greater time than now to identify and recruit a workforce to meet this need.
To do this we are streamlining our recruitment processes and are excited to announce this secondment opportunity for a Mental Health & Addictions clinician with leadership experience who would like to focus on the recruitment of staff within the Community Rural and Specialty Mental Health and Addictions Service.
- The successful applicant will work in close collaboration with the community leadership to oversee the recruitment process for the community service and also be responsible for the clinical reliever pool. The role will report to the Operations Manager for Community.

- Skills and experience you'll need to be considered for the role:
- Demonstrate and role model the service values of Kotahitanga, Whakapakari, Mauri pai, Whakamana, and Whakarongo
- Demonstrate effective time management and prioritisation skills
- Have a good understanding of the needs of the mental health and addictions sector, including specialised services
- Be experienced with the role of recruiting, and the use of Taleo system
- Design innovative approaches to recruitment ie; attraction strategies
- Design strategies to attract staff to assist our efforts to address inequity for Māori
- Be an experienced and registered health professional
