  • The Mental Health and Addictions Service deliver a variety of services across the Waikato region. We are a service undertaking a huge programme of change to deliver better outcomes to tāngata whai ora and whānau in our region.   • Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:
  • At least two years' experience in Mental Health and Addictions, ideally in a community setting or with clear transferable skills-
  • An ability to manage and support planning for complex presentations along with providing leadership and support during crisis situations is essential.-
  • Innovative thinkers with a can do attitude-
  • Practice with a tangata whaiora and whanau centred approach and are a strong advocate for best practice-
  • Approach care and service delivery with a strong cultural lens and an understanding of our responsibilities in achieving equity for Maori-
  • Have a passion for being able to support and sustain change in line with service improvements and developments-
  • Be flexible and adaptable, displaying curiosity and a willingness to learn-
  • Have an identified interest in a leadership pathway in mental health and addictions services-
