Working closely with the Transportation Leader - NZ, this position encompasses a blend of project execution and oversight, design leadership, fostering business growth and nurturing client relationships, alongside guiding and leading teams.

Additionally, active engagement in strategic planning is vital for spotting avenues to bolster the Transportation team's expansion. Moreover, you'll oversee resource allocation for consistent and effective results, while providing guidance and mentorship to your team members.

Qualifications

  • CPEng status is preferred
  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Demonstrable experience as a Principal Engineer within the transport sector
  • Demonstrable design leadership skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and leadership ability
  • Proven project management skills
  • Quality focused accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
