We are looking for a Standards and Regulatory Manager to help us understand the legal requirements and industry standards necessary to supplying Tait products across global markets.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Legal and Commercial team, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer and based out of our head office in Christchurch.

Tait is a global business specialising in providing a network of critical communication systems around the world.

Your role will be to ensure that all regulatory requirements applicable to radiocommunications (both LMR and LTE) are understood and complied with.


In this role, you will:

  • Assist in fulfilling Tait's global compliance obligations by maintaining a database of requirements, interpreting existing and emerging standards and regulatory requirements, educating operating personnel, and monitoring and auditing the relevant processes.
  • Review and approve the aspects of product development and change processes that relate to compliance processes.
  • Keep up to date with future trends and technologies that may impact compliance.

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of legal or compliance experience in radiocommunications or a similar commercial environment
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
