The Metro Contracts team are at the forefront of the Public Transport recovery in Auckland and are seeking a Contracts Manager specifically for the Bus contracts.


About the role

  • The Contracts team strives to deliver exceptional contract management through the negotiation of contract variations, the processing of contract payments, and the auditing and planning of contract outcomes
  • The Contract Manager Bus is responsible for ensuring conformance by operators with contract requirements, for negotiating service changes and improvements, ensuring that contracts are kept uptodate and relevant, and that desired outcomes from the contracts are achieved
  • Being responsible for providing professional advice in the management and administration of all other contractual arrangements delivered by the wider Metro Services group, you'll be competent in Excel and budgeting and also have excellent professional writing skills for formal correspondence to service providers and funders
  • This is a handson role that collaborates with all the teams across Metro Services and IN Commercial to contribute to a centre of excellence approach in delivering quality outcomes
  • The Metro Contracts team works in an adaptable and fluid way on numerous key projects and initiatives across the Metro business these require a committed and open minded approach, and provide opportunities for crossskilling and development.
