About the client:

An established and strong player in the apparel industry, our client is an Australian-owned, family-run business with over 30 years of experience. They provide industry-leading workwear for corporate attire, hospitality uniforms, school clothing, sporting clubs, and a wide range of casual wear. They work with some of the largest clients in New Zealand and we're on the hunt for an experienced Account Manager to develop these partnerships.

About the Role: As an Account Manager you'll play a pivotal role in driving the sales across 200+ accounts for Auckland, upper North Island and the South Island.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Manage and drive sales for existing and new accounts
  • Regular meeting with customers to understand their needs and upcoming projects
  • Introduce and promote new products and ranges to customers
  • Manage communication with accounts and identify and resolve issues effectively
  • Attend trade shows and relevant customer events
  • Conduct sales presentations both internally and externally
  • Execute special projects on an as needed basis
  • Maintain CRM database

About You:

  • Sales and account management experience in a similar industry
  • Sales driven with proven success in achieving and exceeding financial targets
  • Strong negotiation skills and results driven
  • Ability to travel extensively within NZ
