They are looking to strengthen their Sales and Client management function, so are actively seeking to appoint an Account Manager to manage and grow the relationships of a portfolio of SME clients.

This is consultative role, where you be will in regular contact with a portfolio of existing SME clients, to ensure that their current IT support needs are being managed, and their future needs are planned for.

You will provide value-add support and identify opportunities to improve your client's I.
T environment, providing effective solutions, with a focus based on building long-term, sustainable client relationships.

Who we are looking for:

We envision this role being suitable for an IT savvy individual, who will have already cut their teeth in a sales environment and is keen to further develop their IT sales career.

Ideally you will have a solid IT/ technical background.

Maybe you started your career on the tools, in an IT support role and have made a career direction change and entered the world of sales.

The perfect background will be a blend of both technical capability and sales experience, so that you can hold credible sales conversations with clients and ensure that their technical requirements are met.


The Role:
Manage and nurture a portfolio of SME Clients
Conduct regular client reviews to ensure their satisfaction and that value is being added.
Identify solutions to maximise revenue and present proposals for up-sell growth opportunities.
Collaborate with the wider sales and projects teams to funnel leads on any new projects.
Plan and manage individual client development plans and growth/sales strategy.
Manage a proactive call cycle, across all clients, ensuring regular communication.
Handle internal sales requirements, including quoting and responding to inquiries.
Manage proposals, contracts, and service level agreements.
Upskill across solutions around infrastructure, cloud, security products and managed services.

About You:
Minimum 1+ year of experience in IT account management or sales
A solid IT technical understanding, preferably at Level 1-2
Confident communicator.
Engaging.
Easy to relate to.
Proven ability to identify and capitalize on revenue growth opportunities.
Problem solver.
Solution focused.
Highly organised with the ability to plan and manage a busy workload.
Enjoys contributing to and participating in a team environment.
Motivated, hardworking.
Accountable.
