About the team

You will be joining the Operational Safety team responsible for Air Traffic Control and Technology safety investigations and Operational Safety reporting within Airways.


The Operational Safety Team also takes a leadership role regarding best practice for measurement and monitoring of Operational Safety performance whilst ensuring compliance with relevant Civil Aviation rules.


About the role

This casual role as Operational Safety Administrator will see you assist the Operational Safety team in managing the pipeline of operational safety investigations, safety related concerns and data requests.


This includes but aren't limited to:

  • Providing radar replay, audio playback and audio transcripts
  • Generating operational safety reports and metrics
  • Administering operational safety processes as required.
Seeing as it's a casual role, the number of working hours is dependent on the pipeline workload.

To be successful, you will need to have:

  • Previous proven experience (2+ years) in an administration role working with safety systems, preferably in gained within operational safety.
  • Aviation experience and knowledge, preferably with piloting, flight services or ATC experience.
  • Organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and ensure work is completed within agreed timelines.
  • Excellent communications skills with an eagerness to learn and share knowledge.
  • Ability to operate with the utmost integrity, to work cross functionally and collaboratively.
