What will the role involve?


Based at our head office in Hamilton, we are looking for a Network Design & Operations Engineer to enable Tuatahi to build, maintain and operate an effective and efficient network operation, in compliance with Tuatahi's contractual obligations.

This role will integrate inputs provided by functions across Tuatahi (Architecture & Strategy, Planning & Build, Operations etc.) and subsequently produce detailed design artefacts suitable for use in implementation and ongoing operation of the Tuatahi network.

Your expertise in the telco field will be key in achieving the long term technical strategy of Tuatahi.

What will you need to bring with you?
To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • 5 years' experience in a Network design role, preferably in the Telco industry
  • Demonstrated experience as a senior member of a Network Engineering team.
  • A recognised Tertiary Qualification / Bachelor's Degree that encompasses network design and operation
  • Indepth knowledge of Layer 1/2
