About the Role:

Credit Model Specialist

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the assessment of nonretail IFRS9 and IRB model performance ensuring models remain fit for purpose and compliant with Group and ASB credit model standards.
  • Design and execute the implementation of Group IRB models and the development/recalibration of locally built models.
  • Build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders and the regulators to be able to clearly communicate emerging trends and their drivers.

Mōu |About you:

  • 5 years' experience in relevant functions in credit risk modelling.
  • Exposure working with IFRS9 or IRB Modelling on either Retail or Non Retail portfolio's.
  • Strong mathematical/statistical background
  • Expert at Stakeholder management at senior levels, including dealing directly with the regulators
  • Strong analytical skills with proven success working with large datasets
  • Familiarity with corporate credit rating systems and methods of calculation of credit risk, impairment provision and regulatory capital
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills the ability to identify issues and process improvement opportunities
