The aim of the Te Ora Activities Programme is to ensure all residents are supported to enjoy meaningful opportunities to participate in social, cultural, intellectual, occupational, physical and spiritual activities that:
- Reflect their range of interests
- Enrich their quality of life
- Reflect their cultural and spiritual needs
- Maintain or extend their functional capabilities in each area
- Enable them to experience a sense of competence, capability and achievement.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- National Certificate in Diversional Therapy
- Willingness to work towards National Certificate in Diversional Therapy
- Evidence of professional development
- Demonstrate ability to utilise relevant information technology
- Effective communication
- Understanding of requirements for health information documentation
- Adherence to organisational policies and procedures
- Holistic, troubleshooting approach to patient care
- Ability to deliver service requirements within allocated timeframes
- Demonstrates critical reasoning and professional judgement to achieve best outcomes
