Our vision for school property is that all schools have quality learning environments as part of a well-managed and sustainable portfolio that helps deliver equitable and excellent outcomes for every child.

The Operational Practice and Funding (OP&F) team provides support to our property delivery teams within the Property Delivery group.

OP&F is the conduit between National Office and frontline regional property teams to support the successful management of the Operational Practice Framework and funding entitlements for schools.

We are also responsible for managing key property related funding streams and processes through accurate calculation, allocation, quality assurance and modelling activities that equates to over $700 million annually.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity as a Senior Advisor (School Funding) available based in National Office in Wellington. The main focus of this role is to deliver school funding calculations, approvals and payments for schools.

This includes provision of data analysis and reporting to support planning and decision-making and providing informed, insightful and constructive advice in response to funding queries.

You will also provide modelling and policy guidance for existing funding programmes and new initiatives and contribute to a range of funding projects to ensure appropriate policies, processes and systems are in place to support the school property funding function.
