We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Manager
to deliver a streetlight maintenance programme in our Streetlights Business Unit division within Distribution, as well securing future streetlight contracts.
About the Role
- Manage the Distribution profit centre operation and carrying out business planning to ensure it achieves its growth, turnover, profit, and Key Performance indicators.
- Manage the maintenance program to ensure that we are meeting streetlight contract objectives.
- Manage end customer relationships.
- Provide scope and pricing for streetlight renewal projects.
- Manage the streetlight renewal program.
- Coordinate work with Vector on addressing streetlight network issues
- Recruitment, training and development, mentoring and performance management of technical, administrative and management staff for the streetlight profit centres.
- Providing leadership to the streetlight staff, in a variety of roles.
About you
To be considered, you will have:
- Tertiary level qualification
- Business Management (preferred)
- Tertiary level qualification
- At least 5 years relevant industry experience.
- Estimating/tendering skills, with handson ability.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven successful Operational and Financial Management skills.
- Handson experience in electrical and construction project management.
- A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements.
- Knowledge of industry contracting procedures and contract law.
- Change leadership experienced in leading successful organisational change.
