About the role

Reporting to the Manager Evaluation, the Lead Evaluator is a specialist senior operational role responsible for conducting external evaluation reviews on all non-university tertiary organisations (TEOs).

In this role you will direct small teams in the review of TEOs to ensure that leaners and other stakeholders are being well-served.

Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will need to manage a high work-load.

You'll have a demonstrated ability to lead small teams, gather evidence and make professional judgements based on the evidence collected, and have experience with peer reviews and professional reflective practises.

You'll have great communication skills, including the ability to write clear, well-evidenced reports for the general reader.

A background in evaluation would be an advantage, as would some knowledge of te ao Māori and te reo Māori.
