Ko tōu ake mahi - What You'll Do

As the Group Manager Research Evaluation and Innovation (REI) you will bring enthusiasm and know-how of the value of having evidence-based decision making deliver systemic change.

You will be a talented leader, being just as comfortable working with the teams in your Group as engaging with Minister's and Executives and working with internal and external stakeholders and partners.

As with anything new, you will understand the value of bringing people on the journey with you and building a shared vision for the direction of this new Group.

The Group Manager Research Evaluation and Innovation (REI) is a new role within the Directorate and is expected to provide strong leadership to ensure that health research, evidence and innovation is a catalyst for change in the health sector.

In this role you will oversee the delivery of a work programme and lead the development of research and evaluation capability within the Directorate, the Ministry and wider Health system.

  • A strong understanding of the role that research, evaluation and innovation play in achieving the vision of Pae Ora and equity in the health system
