About the Role:
Reporting into the Manager, Assurance & Audit this is a great opportunity for someone who has been in a supervisor role to step lead two internal auditors.
It will also take responsibility for large complex audits assignments and work closely to help develop risk maturity across the entire organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and execute comprehensive internal audits across all business units.
- Develop and implement risk-based audit plans to address the organisation's key areas of concern as well as review key work programmes.
- Coaching and mentoring the internal auditors both on and off assignment.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas of improvement, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and risk awareness within the organisation.
To be considered, you will:
- Display a minimum of three years within Internal Audit, with a track record of leading successful complex audit engagements.
- Be able to demonstrate planning and preparation of audits and lead less experienced auditors through the process.
- Have strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Display excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Have strong coaching and mentoring skills.
