Senior Evaluator/Evaluator

  • Be a catalyst for change in education
  • Collaborative, supportive, futurefocused team
  • Strong opportunities for advancement and growth
Curiosity and a commitment to making a difference are what sets the team at Te Ihuwaka apart.

We're the Research and Evaluation Centre in the Education Review Office (ERO), providing insights into education that are a catalyst for meaningful change.

Our advice is highly valued and influences better decision-making and best practice, with the goal that every child achieves a quality education.

Over the past 12 months, Te Ihuwaka has researched and evaluated a wide range of issues including school attendance, the quality of education provision for disabled learners, the experiences of ethnically diverse learners in our schools, the impact of Covid-19 on schools and learning, and how teacher aides can have the most impact.

Many of these reports have impacted policy and driven real change.

Our team is three years old and moving into an exciting stage of growth, which means we're seeking more motivated talent to join us.

We offer an exciting and varied research and evaluation work programme, a team culture that is collaborative, supportive, and professional, and strong opportunities for growth and development.

You could come from a research or evaluation background or a more policy-focused space.

Either way, you'll be a team player, with great relationship skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is open to new ways of working.

You may currently be a Senior, an experienced Evaluator/Analyst ready to take a step up, or an enthusiastic Analyst.
