We're looking for a Product Analyst to join our Engineering Solutions team in Christchurch.

This is an opportunity to join a team who manage an expanding portfolio of technology / digital products, meeting the evolving needs of our maintenance business in New Zealand.

We operate as 'product' team, meaning we try to maximise product value for our customers.

You will contribute by helping us to incrementally improve our users experience, both by improving the products themselves, and the operational support processes around them.

Overall responsibilities


With support from an experienced Product Manager and team, you will undertake various tasks across the systems development life cycle, in addition to providing day-to-day operational support.


Some of the most important responsibilities will be:

  • Proactively growing knowledge of our customers / users, our business and the market / environment we operate in
  • Determining opportunities for product and/or process improvement
  • Documenting requirements for colleagues and technical teams to facilitate that improvement
  • Working with internal and external teams to deliver new features
  • Verifying solutions are delivered to specification
  • Providing excellent change management and ongoing support, including training
  • Documenting and maintaining product information such as feature definitions, user information, operational support processes, and technical information

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Industry knowledge & experience
  • A relevant degree from a recognised University or Tertiary provider
  • Relevant certifications (IIBA or BCS for example)
  • Experienced Agile ways of working
  • Used Microsoft 365 & Atlassian products
  • Helpdesk experience
