About the role


We are looking for a capable Senior Project Engineer who will bring extensive knowledge and experience in procurement and contract management to deliver our infrastructure projects.


This includes working with in-house as well as external resources to develop contracts, tender, and contract manage the broad range of projects we get involved with.

These could be car parks, roads, walkways and cycleways, public toilets, libraries, playgrounds, boat ramps, wharves and jetties.


The Senior Project Engineer will provide engineering advice to project managers, design engineers, and consultants, overseeing construction, and managing the contracts to ensure the community receives all the benefits of the new facilities.

The role also includes sharing your knowledge and skills with others through coaching and mentoring.

About you
We need someone who can build and maintain strong relationships, as well as adapt to changing circumstances.

Someone with a broad range of technical knowledge and experience in civil engineering, and experience, or desire, to be involved in project management.
