At CountdownX we're accelerating our ambition to create highly personalised, seamless and connected experiences for our customers. To help us succeed, we're looking for a Product Manager to join our Product Practice here in Aotearoa.


Joining our talented team, you're accountable for delivering end to end business and customer value by owning the product strategy, discovery and delivery of your product.

Our Product Managers have strategic influence, commercial accountability and they inspire cross-functional teams to build industry-leading products to solve real problems for our customers and maximise business value.

As a Product Manager you are also a key contributor towards the mission and vision of our Product Practice.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

  • Collaborate across Squads, Tribes and wider Business Stakeholders to deliver an ambitious and compelling product strategy for Countdown's online ecommerce
  • Lead a squad through outcome focused discovery, delivery and scaling
  • Foster a sustainable culture of high performance and lead by example
  • Deeply understand your product; its customers, value potential, roadmap, lifecycle and performance; and share this with clarity and enthusiasm around our business
  • Team up effectively with all parts of our business to maximise endtoend value
  • Join Countdown's product community to contribute, learn, share and become a product evangelist at our organisation

We're looking for a Product Manager who enjoys inspiring and motivating teams to deliver innovative solutions.

To succeed in this role you will:

  • Be data driven, customer obsessed and outcome focused
  • Be a strong communicator, articulating the product vision and ambition
  • Know how to build product value through experimentation and iteration
  • Have experience constructing product strategies and securing buyin and support across the business
  • Be an advocate for fullyempowered product teams
  • Be a confident coach, helping others embed great product practices
