About the Role

Come join our amazing team in Silverdale, Auckland.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Field Supervisor role.

In this role, you will co-ordinate distribution network employees, deliver the required customer service level agreement outcomes and ensure work is completed safely, on time and to an appropriate quality standard within our Distribution Project Delivery Business Unit.

Plan work for staff and lead staff in the field on a daily basis.
Utilising subcontractors.
Identify long-term work for budget consideration.
Ensure that both Electrix and the customer comply with the contract agreement.
Ensure job packs are submitted for invoicing.
Maintain excellent productivity and employment relations.
Achieve industry codes of practice and ensure they are complied with.

Achieve safe working methods and the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment Act and ensure these are communicated to all staff.

About you

To be considered, you will have:
Trade qualification as an electrician or distribution line mechanic is preferred.
Hands-on experience in distribution installations and maintenance.
Knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements.
Knowledge of underground HV and LV switching.
Generation connection experience.
Basic computer experience.
Able to write brief reports.
Excellent interpersonal skills with staff and customers - at all levels.
