Nursery Supervisor

**To be successful for this role, you must**:

- Have a qualification in horticulture/agriculture OR a minimum of 1-year work experience working in a nursery or in a similar setting such as agriculture/horticulture/farming and executing similar tasks as below.
- Be well organized with good time management
- Be honest and enthusiastic with a positive and mature attitude
- Available to work on weekends.
- Available to work on public holidays if required
- Must be physically fit for lifting.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Preparing land, pots & containers for plantation and seeding.
- Ensuring that soil has appropriate moisture for seeding/plantation.
- Select seeds/bulbs/cuttings and plant them appropriately in selected area.
- Ensure that all plantations are watered appropriately as required
- Grafting plants and post grafting care.
- Ensure that plants have sufficient nutrition as required
- Ensure that plants are protected from environmental conditions such as heavy rain, wind, humidity, dryness, heat etc.
- Taking other appropriate measures as required to ensure that plants are healthy and flourishing

Employment - Full Time (Permanent)

Minimum Hours - 30 per week

Location of Work - Auckland Region

**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
