About the role
People Operations aim to ensure our people are safe, enabled and empowered to deliver Our Business. As a Workforce Analyst, you'll work within a high performing Workforce Management (WFM) team based in Wellington DHQ. Your role will ensure that Wellington District has the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
This is achieved by providing accurate workforce forecasting, planning and reporting, developing and managing rosters to best support Our Business.
This position is responsible for providing efficient and effective support and guidance to the Workforce Management Team to enable operational deployment.
The Workforce Analyst provides information, recommendations and expert advice to the management team on which to base future staffing and deployment needs.
We are seeking someone who can fit seamlessly into our friendly and effective workgroup. Ideally you would be a self-motivated individual, who has attention to detail, and enjoys problem solving.Within your role you will:
- Ownership of time critical tasks
- Building relationships with Partner Work Group staff
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, ideally with a background in Workforce Management (experience with Kronos would be an advantage).
You will need to be able to multi-task, work well under pressure and be able to complete all work with accuracy.
The ability to quickly build and maintain relationships with excellent verbal and written communication skills is also essential.Key Accountabilities:
