We are looking amazing Registered Nurses (YOU) to join the Inpatient Unit team (the best team).

You will use your incredible skills to provide respite, symptom management and end of life care to our patients and their whaanau.

You'll need to bring

  • A current RN Practising Certificate Commitment to providing holistic and equitable care

Hospice Waikato provides high quality, patient focused, palliative care, for Waikato people living with a terminal condition and their whaanau.

We have a great culture, and our leaders genuinely care for our people and making this an awesome place to work - they even muck in to provide staff appreciation lunches each quarter.

Day to day our team give the best possible care to our patients, we have the time to sit and be with our patients, we also get the opportunity to work with some pretty exciting wounds We are fast paced, we don't sit around twiddling our thumbs, and our days are never the same.

However the sense of achievement at the end of the day is ever present, we really do give the best care in one of the best environments.


We aren't the end of the road for all our patients, many of our patients do walk in and walk back out again once we've given them the IPU experience.

Applicants must have the right to work in NZ.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake pre-employment health screening (including drug testing) and complete a criminal records check, the results of which must be to Hospice Waikato's satisfaction.
