FTE (10 and 8 hour shifts)
A unique opportunity for NZ trained Registered Nurses who want to work in a nursing space with a side plate of technical developmentWe want to develop our home grown nurses who are now in their 3
rd year take that next step in to Theatre where you get to work alongside an Anaesthetist
You will gain extensive knowledge and understanding of airway management as well as the ability to learn all about the equipment that we rely on to assist a patient during surgery.

Being part of a team of Anaesthetic Technicians and RNAA's is hard to beat when it comes to showcasing other skills.


  • Key responsibilities of the role:
  • Complete the training programme in months-
  • Be open to learning new skills as well as be a self-directed learner-
  • Be responsible for assisting in and delivery and evaluation of safe and appropriate centred care within the delivery of anaesthesia to a patient-
  • Provide a professional manner, skilled, clinical and technical assistance to the anaesthetist-
  • Work part of the theatre team in providing maximum quality care to patients undergoing anaesthesia.

  • Skills and experience you'll need to be considered for the role:
  • Be a NZ Trained Registered Nurse who has worked at least 3 years in a large NZ Hospital-
  • Be registered to work and have a current APC-
  • Have an interest in working in a technical role that sits alongside your nursing skills-
  • Experience working in
    THEATRE, EMERGENCY OR ICU/HDU
  • Able to work rostered shifts (Days, PMs, weekends and nights)
