About the role


Reporting directly to the Store Manager, your role as Retail Leader will be to maximize the efficiency of the Inwards Goods operation (by supervising your team members in a way that ensures all stock entering and leaving the Inwards Goods area is processed in an accurate and timely manner), maximize the efficiency of checkouts and the customer service area (which includes click and collect, special orders and deliveries) and Inventory Control.

Inventory is referred to as Data Integrity here and this would entail ensuring that all the stock is counted in a year, reviewing stock holding taking responsibility for SLOB's and managing all promotional price updates.


What will you bring?

  • Ideally you would have 3+ years' experience in people management/leadership at a midmanagement level, with the ability to engage your team.
  • You are someone who leads with a handson approach.
  • You would have a background in retail stock control, merchandising, ticketing and either logistics of customer experience.
  • Physical fitness is key as you will be working on your feet for much of the day and some lifting of product is required
  • Being safety conscious and prepared to follow all H&S requirements
  • The ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Administrative skills and computer literacy.

  • Coaching and supporting team members to achieve required performance standards and fulfill expectations.
  • Championing health and safety, ensuring safe work practices within your team.
  • Ensure stock is dispatched on time and that outbound orders are accurate.
  • Championing continuous improvement within the department.
