Permanent - full time, rostered shift work

Salary details:
$63,450 to $74,442 + KiwiSaver

  • We are looking for individuals who can support our taangata whaiora and their whaanau during their admission period across our inpatient services.
  • Maaori are significantly represented across our services, which is why we are moving towards becoming a 'culturally led, clinically underpinned' service.
  • Delivering excellent care in a culturally responsive manner, to support the best outcomes for Maaori is fundamental to our mahi.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

  • Responsibilities of the role:
  • To function as a member of an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary team to contribute to achieving tangata whaiora goals.
  • To report observed changes in tangata whaiora's health status to the registered health professional
  • To have an understanding of potential/ actual risk factors and how to deescalate and escalate to ensure the safety of our tāngata whai ora
