The Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, Pharmacy & Department Stores, the Key Accounts/Field Excellence Manager will be responsible for driving sales, building partnerships and ensuring CS&Co. brands look best in class, are compliant and highly visible in retail.

You will support and direct a team that includes Beauty Advisors, Counter Managers, Merchandisers and third-party merchandising.

Whilst you will be responsible for Account Management & sales in key focus doors, you will also be responsible for executing go to market strategies across the brand portfolio to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy business plan for Key Accounts with measurable outcomes for Sales, in-store visibility/brand representation.
  • Work closely with Sales and Brand teams on go-to-market strategies that deliver against key sales and in-store objectives.
  • Develop and deploy educational resources that support overall sales and channel strategies.
  • In conjunction with Sales & Marketing develop overall merchandising strategy that sufficiently supports our brands in market.
  • Ensure compliance across all major brands in portfolio and provide ongoing reporting to wider team against key objectives
  • Developing and maintaining functional relationships with key customers

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience at Key Accounts / Sales Management level ideally in the beauty industry or similar.
  • Experience managing an in field / remote team
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities for growth & use data to influence outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • A track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Exposure to NZ retailers at any level from field, operations to customer engagement - including Pharmacy, Farmers
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
