We are seeking a Senior Telesales Consultant to lead and mentor a team of telesales consultants.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our team.

The role:

The job:

  • Inspire and guide a team of telesales representatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of sales strategies to achieve team goals.
  • Utilise Salesforce or other CRM systems for team management, reporting, and maintaining precise records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to promote team success.
  • Collaborate with upper management to provide insights on team performance and suggest improvements.
  • Generate leads and build a qualified prospect pipeline through hands-on outbound calls.
  • Establish rapport with potential and existing customers, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Support the team in negotiating and closing sales deals, surpassing assigned sales targets.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency within the executive office.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Relevant experience in telesales leadership or another sales/customer service leadership role.
  • Tertiary qualification beneficial
  • Proven track record of managing a team and driving them to meet sales quotas, ideally over the phone.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities in English
  • Knowledge of Mandarin is advantageous
  • Ability to research and articulate product and service details to customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to remain composed in all situations.
  • Exceptional negotiating skills and the ability to resolve issues and grievances.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Empathetic and adaptable interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the food service industry is advantageous.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
  • Target-driven with a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
