  1. This is a critical leadership role and key customer and product advocate in Product Engineering teams (squad).
  2. By taking strong ownership of the outcome, you'll ensure teams are working on the right thing, leading key trade-off decisions based on value and impact and are accountable for delivering the outcomes and shifting the metrics we care about most.
  3. To achieve this, you will work closely with teams to prioritise and refine the roadmap and backlog, identify and manage dependencies and maintain the robust health, resilience and stability of our systems.
Here's what you can expect from the role:
  1. Strike the balance between value, viability, feasibility and usability and be accountable for the short-term roadmap and committed outcomes of the product's delivery
  2. Work with the product management and technical leadership teams to identify the most valuable pieces of work, prioritise them, and slice them to optimise for the first customer feedback loop.
  3. Lead the effort to define quarterly story-maps and OKRs to build alignment between high-level strategy and day-to-day engineering team,
  4. Create, refine and maintain and robust, adequately resourced Epic backlog
  5. Lead release change management including customer adoption/rollout planning and both internal and external engagement and communication around the change
  6. Build a strong understanding of our customers' experience using our services day to day and bring the voice of the customer to prioritisation decisions
  7. Align expectations by keeping the Sponsors, wider stakeholder and customer groups informed and engaged with the changes happening to your platforms to ensure good governance and support
  8. Work with Engineering managers and technical leaders to strike a right balance between Product delivery, Platform maintenance,
  9. Advocate for customer experience by identifying and prioritising small and continuous improvements,
  10. Adhere to agile principles

What you will bring to our team:
Experience

*Experience and knowledge in the Property B2B space is a must.
*Experience in the Property B2B and Audience space is highly desirable.
  1. 5+ years experience leading Product Engineering teams to deliver great outcomes, good understanding of product, design & engineering practices with knowledge of web & mobile technologies
  2. Experienced in working in an agile development environment with a good understanding of agile ways of working
  3. A proven track record of successfully developing flexible value driven product roadmaps to clarify where we are going, taking ownership of outcomes, define opportunities and delivering measurable results
  4. Familiarity with technology and engineering concepts to form a common language with engineering leaders

  1. You understand the pricing and commercial models in the Property space.
  2. You have a good understanding of vertical and horizontal integrations and channels in the Property space.
  3. *Results-oriented with demonstrated ability to deliver great outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  4. A great team player and collaborator, able to form strong relationships and get the best out of people
  5. An outstanding communicator – able to explain ideas simply & clearly, listen carefully to others, and proactively improve team communication. Confident in communicating to stakeholders, customers and consumers
  6. Highly organised, with great planning and facilitation skills
  7. Energy, drive and enthusiasm for excellent results and a genuine desire to help engage and motivate other team/squad members
  8. Exceptional proficiency in risk management and robust decision-making based on risk assessment
  9. Advanced analytical, technical and creative reasoning and an extensive toolkit of problem solving techniques
  10. Mentors and guides others in product ownership tools and practices
  11. Identify where product ownership practices require uplift and recommend and implement improvements
  12. Confident using collaborative tools to clarify work scope, sizing, trade offs, dependencies and other planning considerations. (eg. Miro, LucidChart, Jira)
