About the Role
We are looking for Sample Administrators to join our team on a 6 month fixed-term basis.


Reporting to the Sample Administration Team Leader, this role is responsible for receipting and registering laboratory test samples arriving at the Diagnostics Laboratory and contributing to running a profitable commercial laboratory services business.


Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Maintaining a high level of health and safety practices
  • Helping to implement and maintain ISO 17025 quality standards
  • Assisting the Sample Administration Team Leader to maintain adequate throughput levels
  • Resolving customer queries
  • Helping to organise and maintain efficient storage of samples before analysis
  • Working with accuracy to meet all legislative requirements pertaining to laboratory testing and the Quality systems.

In this role you will be part of a supportive team who enjoy the work they do. With a 'can-do' attitude, you'll effectively deliver quality Diagnostics services to our farming customers.

You'll confidently demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Knowledge and operational experience with ISO 17025 implementation would be advantageous.
  • Having knowledge of farming practices would be an advantage, but not essential.
