**About the Role**:
Diagnostics is a rapidly growing and evolving business which includes GeneMark DNA parent verification and Animal Health diagnostics laboratories as well as a state-of-the-art sequencing facility. As the Diagnostics Systems Manager, you'll lead the charge in supporting, managing, and enhancing our IT systems and infrastructure. Leading a team of specialists, you'll ensure seamless operations and drive continuous improvement to meet the evolving needs of our business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Inspire and motivate your team of Diagnostics Systems Specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and alignment with LIC values.
- Strategic planning for Diagnostics IT systems in collaboration with wider LIC Technology team and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the performance, maintenance, and upgrades of our existing Diagnostics IT systems (GeneMark & Animal Health), ensuring adherence to quality and security standards.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external IT support partners and stakeholders to drive innovation and facilitate the development of new products and services.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive operational performance reporting to uphold our commitment to meeting customer expectations consistently.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets, operate within budget parameters, demonstrating financial acumen and accountability.

**About You**:
You'll bring a background in IT management, where you've led high-performing teams and driving results. You'll also be able to demonstrate:

- Excellent process analysis, implementation, and control skills, along with proficiency in database management and reporting software.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling you to tackle complex challenges with confidence.
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification, in IT or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to bring out the best in others.
- Have functional knowledge and experience of health and safety legislative requirements, prioritising the well-being of our team members.
- Enjoy working as part of a diverse team collaborating with others with a wide range of skills.
