The Policy Implementation and Delivery (PID) - Investments Directorate brings value to our partnerships through direct investment, on the ground project support and connecting our partners to other opportunities and resources.

You will be the lead practitioner or 'go-to' person within the Ministry for understanding what funding opportunities are best suited for our partners and helping these partners navigate the funding landscape.

As this is a practitioner role, you'll be heavily involved in both the doing and the guiding of how our teams work within their investment systems, assessing and negotiating proposals, engaging with stakeholders, and collaborating on investments.

The Lead for Investments will also play an important leadership role in further building the Ministry's investment capability and capacity by leading the communities of interest programmes that allows investment agencies or organisations to share lessons learnt, identify common funding interests, build system thinking into fund designs, help facilitate collaboration amongst organisations, and provide thought leadership to the directorate.
