About Our Client:


Our client has been servicing the New Zealand construction, civil and mining sectors amongst others and has a strong presence and reputation as the leader in heavy hire.

This privately owned, long established and well-resourced company has a substantial rental equipment fleet and large branch network throughout New Zealand.


Responsibilities:

  • Focus on driving the revenue by selling hire solutions to the customer base across this region.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospective clients to achieve Hire solutions. This will require developing a regular calling cycle, cold calling and follow up where appropriate, and attending appropriate shows and functions etc.
  • Ensure Hire agreements, tax invoices and all other documentation required by the Employer is completed correctly and payment made within appropriate time frames.
  • Provide weekly and/or monthly reports to your manager advising of clients visited, outcomes, problems encountered, lost sales and reasons therefore etc.
  • Whilst in the field ensure customers are advised of all services we can provide and make appropriate referrals to Group companies.
  • At all times to act and present one's self in a professional and competent manner so as to promote the company and its products to best advantage.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other Group personal (including but not limited to) Directors, General Manager, Equipment Production Manager, Haulage and Equipment staff.
  • Consistently maintain the customer database.
  • Such other duties as may be reasonably required by your Manager.

What you will bring:

  • Experienced sales professional/leader with experience in equipment rental or civil constructionrelated sectors.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven experience as a Territory Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role.
  • Highly motivated and self driven.
