Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Nzme New Zealand Full time

If you love connecting people and keeping them in the know; communicating simply, clearly and creatively; and making people proud of the company they work for – read on.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're looking for a communications star to keep internal and external communications humming at Aotearoa's leading media company.

Do you have the ability to tell stories, write fantastic content, celebrate company news and success, and to engage with our people and our audiences.

A large part of your role will be internal communications – ensuring our people across the country are kept in the know on all our internal events, training activity, company updates and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.

You'll also partner closely with our Culture and Performance team to support the delivery of communications that relate to culture and performance and employer brand.

The full position description is available upon request.

ABOUT YOU:

You'll be an excellent communicator with fantastic interpersonal skills and you'll be able to identify great stories to share with our external audiences through publicity channels, engaging with key media to showcase NZME's many brands across Publishing, Audio and One Roof.

Reporting to our GM of Communications, this role calls for someone with excellent writing and editing skills, and a high degree of detail and accuracy.

Experience with managing social media platforms and working with the full Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
Ideally you will be a communications or journalism grad with 2-3 years' experience in a communications role, or similar.

So, if you're a positive-spirited and organised multi-tasker, and a great communicator who can juggle deadlines, we want to hear from you.

ABOUT US:

In return we offer a 'never a dull moment' environment and a culture where we tell it like it is, challenge the status quo, innovate, and encourage fun along the way.

You'll be joining a company that is vibrant, energetic and encourages you to be your very best.
We value our people - through reward and recognition; diversity and inclusion; development and career progression.

Your workplace will be in central Auckland in a modern well-equipped office that boasts radio studios, newsroom hubs, multiple breakout areas and our popular i Heart Lounge that hosts a variety of internal events.

You'll have access to a range of discounted products and services, development opportunities and be a key member of a high performing marketing and comms team.

Use your out of the box communications skills to show us why you're our next team member by applying now with your CV and cover letter.

All applicants will be asked about their NZ working rights.
