Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role As a Senior Customer Billing Specialist, you will support the Customer Billing team manager and team, to provide an optimum delivery of service to customers, both internal and external.
Joining at a time of exciting change and growth, you will report and analyse, implementing effective monitoring systems and processes to ensure the team's output meets required standards.
In this senior role, you'll be happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in with the day to day as well as be seen as a process champion for Customer Billing and Credit Control, assisting and advising the Financial Services Team Managers of opportunities for improvement and modernising our current processes.
Safeguard NZ Post's revenue ensuring credit note, refund and write-off approval requests are correct and justified, advising on mitigation approach too.
There'll be lots of opportunities to contribute real value and aid the team in becoming a high performing billing function.
Mōu - About you Invest in delivering a better service to our customers by bringing your customer centric attitude to the forefront.
A depth of experience is required in this role so you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- At least 35 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar, preferably in a large organisation which has a strong customer relationship component.
- Indepth knowledge and experience of Accounts Receivable systems, processes and practises.
- Process improvement experience identifying, analysing and improving existing business processes.
- Proven training experience preferably gained in the training delivery of financial based processes.
- Experience working with an integrated FMIS solution.
