Laboratory Quality Systems Lead

We are seeking a Quality Systems Lead to join the Laboratory team. The Quality Systems Lead is responsible for leading the implementation and ongoing improvement of Laboratory Quality Management Systems.

This includes:

  • Developing, maintaining and improving the laboratory quality systems. This includes change control, audit, training, management review and nonconformance;
  • Analysing quality management systems data to provide recommendations for improvement. This includes data from the nonconformance including repeat NCs/CARs, etc.;
  • Preparing reports including those required for the laboratory management review, laboratory objectives and team charter;
  • Managing the laboratory purchasing function. This includes raising purchase orders, receipting and reviewing contract.

Knowledge:

  • Industry experience in a laboratory quality systems role;
  • Understanding of ISO 17025, IANZ accreditation requirements;

Experience:

  • Proven experience in developing, implementing and improving laboratory quality systems;
  • Providing laboratory service in an ISO 17025 IANZ accredited laboratory.
