Mō te tūnga | About the role;

This newly developed and unique Advanced Speech Language Therapist role within our community older persons mental health team will provide effective, evidence informed and culturally safe clinically practice across various service delivery methods including; group therapy, virtual care, outpatient clinics and home visits where clinically indicated.

Based administratively at Princess Margaret Hospital but providing care to older people community across the Canterbury region, the successful applicant will work alongside operational and clinical leaders to support the continuous improvement of the Speech-Language therapy service within the older persons mental health specialty with opportunities to collaborate regionally and nationally.

This is a predominantly clinical role based within the older persons mental health inter-disciplinary team.
