Our fabulous People and Capability and Payroll Coordinator is moving overseas shortly so we are looking for a highly organised, customer focused person to join our Payroll and Reporting team and fill her big shoes.

This is a permanent position based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office.

Mō te tūranga | About the role
This is a busy and rewarding role that is crucial to the success of our Payroll and Reporting team.

Using your efficient and accurate data entry and well-developed payment calculation skills you will help ensure our payroll processes run smoothly and employees have a seamless payroll experience.


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all documentation is approved/signed and entered for the pay cycle
  • Entering new starters
  • Wage calculations for any deductions and allowances
  • Uploading PAYE files for payment through IRD website
  • Managing the payroll inbox
  • Running and preparing simple reports requested by the business


While payroll is the primary focus for now, in time this role will also provide administration support to the wider P&C team.

This role would suit someone who is ready for more responsibility and to grow their payroll skills and HR knowledge.

You'll be joining a supportive team and be involved in our exciting people initiatives as well.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • previous payroll administrative experience, ideally with MYOB PayGlobal
- attention to detail and high accuracy
- a high level of interpersonal and communications skills
- the ability to manage competing priorities and deliverables to expected timeframes
- a positive attitude and willingness to help others
- great relationship skills
