The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis.

Your role will focus on development and maintenance of reports, procedures, tools, and metrics for Synlait's critical master data which will enable data-driven decision making.


This is a pivotal role where you will liaise with wider teams throughout the business to facilitate, provide insight and get information to assist in influencing decisions.

The main responsibilities of this role include.

  • Support the Data Governance Manager in developing a longterm strategy for data management based on business goals and objectives
  • Conduct audits and identify trends that may indicate problems with data quality
  • Actively manage internal client expectations and maintain timeliness of delivery to ensure deadlines are met


If you are passionate about Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI) and have a strong understanding of Mater Data then we want to hear from you The key to your success will be your strong communication, ability to build strong relationships and be able to translate business requirements to solution and implementation.


Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role will require

  • Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Purview, Power BI, is essential
  • Proven capability using Microsoft BI Stack
  • SQL Server/SSIS/SSAS/SSRS is essential
  • Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Purview, Power BI, is essential
  • Experience with Microsoft excel, including VBA, is an advantage


A tertiary education in Information Technology, or a related field as well as previous experience working in a similar role focussing on reporting, BI and Master Data.

Coming from a manufacturing background would be a major plus but not necessary.
