About the role


The Police Prosecution Service (PPS) is looking for motivated, engaging individuals to join the PPS team as National Trainers within its Professional Development team.

You will be working with a highly motivated team in a supported environment offering excellent development opportunities.

The purpose of the PPS is to build Safer Communities through effective justice interventions and resolutions.

Your primary role will be developing and enhancing PPS staff capability (including Cultural Competency).

This would include delivering training (face to face and virtually), supporting (coaching and providing feedback) staff, and collaborating with training designers at the Royal New Zealand Police College to develop on-line training modules.


This an exciting opportunity to play your part in building the capability of the PPS and contributing to a culture that supports NZ Police policy and strategic direction.

This position is offered within major population centres within NZ. These include Auckland, Manukau, Wellington and Christchurch. Regular travel will be required and flexible working options are available for the successful applicant.

This role is set at

Team Leader/Manager level, this means your key purpose is "to lead the activities for Our Business and enable people to deliver them."
