We are looking to fill a full-time fixed term contract position to cover an employee on parental leave.

Role Purpose:

  • Claims management of a portfolio of clients.
  • Management of claims to meet Service Level Agreement, AEP audit standards, Legislation and Wellnz's commitment to quality.
  • Provide support to Case managers in the implementation and delivery of services to meet SLA and AEP audit standards.
  • Promote the healthy and safe working environment.
  • Identify new business opportunities.

Key Role Responsibilities:

Client service -

  • Establish effective working relationships with case managers and clients.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service to injured employees is achieved and maintained in accordance with the Code of Claimant Rights.

Compliance - Ensure the client Service Level Agreement, client negotiated KPI's, AEP audit standards and Wellnz quality standards and procedures are maintained.

Effective coordination of services - To co-ordinate and facilitate appropriate cover and entitlement services to ensure a timely, efficient and cost-effective service is provided, on behalf of clients.

New business - Recognise and act upon new business opportunities.

Technical knowledge - Develop and maintain a competent practice.

Health and Safety - Foster positive H&S practices.

Personal Training - Complete compulsory modules.

OneMarsh - Develop relationships with and promote the interests of other specialist areas.

What you need to have:

  • At least 2 years experience in claims management/or equivalent or 2 years working experience in a relevant health discipline or administration.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the ACC Accredited Employer Programme audit standards.
  • Commitment to the philosophy of a case management model of practice.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship skills.
  • Sensitivity to equity, disabilities and various other social and cultural issues.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and customer focused.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Word and Excel skills.
  • Proven time management and organisational skills including the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Selfmotivated, energetic & team player.
