About the role

In this role, you are the first face of our high-performing North Shore Toyota Service department.

You are here to meet, greet and safely check-in our customers, so that the Service team can get working on their beautiful Toyotas Your key responsibilities include:

- meeting and greeting our customers;
- providing refreshments for our customers;
- identifying customers needs and listening attentively to them;
- carrying out walk around, check-in and collection process according to Toyota's Customer First service procedure;
- providing customers with clear cost and time estimates about their vehicle (and explaining the work we are suggesting to be done, in a very plain English and simple way);
- managing the loan vehicle process;
- managing the car park and moving customer vehicles from drop off zones to appropriate parking spaces
- taking payment from customers, daily banking and EFTPOS settlements, etc;
- there may be times when you need to proactively engage with a customer to minimise the impact of a customer's concerns (or escalate that to your People Leader); and
- ensuring that customers paperwork and records are all up to date and accurate.


Communication in this role is KEY You need to proactively talk and work with everyone involved in the Service process; from the customer, to the Workshop Controller, to the front office Service team.

Skills & Experience

  • You ideally have experience in customer service / facing roles, but if you don't, you're a people person and are known for making quality and positive connections with people
  • You have initiative and enjoy thinking on your feet
  • You have outstanding verbal and written English communication skills
  • You're a reliable, resilient, and a good teammate
  • If you can speak Mandarin, that would be a real bonus
