Job Description:


As a Process Engineer within our national Energy business, you will be responsible for supporting suitable technical solutions on a range of projects in renewable, industrial, waste and utility energy sectors.


Whilst our preference is for the role to be based in Auckland, we are open to Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch.


Day to day, your tasks will include:

  • Engineering calculations such as chemical reactions, heat transfer and Hydraulic analysis
  • Fluid and gas pipeline and pipework design and analysis
  • Materials and equipment selection
  • Hydraulic transient analysis
  • Production of drawings (with CAD support)
  • Specification writing
  • Construction contract document writing
  • Construction monitoring and site inspections

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' relevant professional experience
  • Site experience/experience in projects being constructed and commissioned
  • Experience in suitable software packages
  • An active and attentive listener and team player
  • Demonstrated time management and organisation skills
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills; report, specification, and construction contract writing; development of proposals
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to develop relationships
  • Ability to complete design detailing
